A high level meeting between India and Israel this week will discuss better co-operation between the two nations with regards to developing technology to improve agriculture.
Already Israel is known throughout the world for its technological advances in areas ranging from consumer electronics through to water purification.
The two countries will be at the Tel Aviv-based Agritech 2006 Conference from May 9 to May 11 where issues such as clean water will be top of the agenda and the delegation from India will be exploring ways Israeli technology can improve their country.
"There is a tremendous potential for cooperation between India and Israel in the field of agriculture and the high-level delegation from India reflects this potential," said a spokesman for the conference.
