They say diamonds are a girl's best friend and nothing is as precious as a diamond, but when it comes to working with these gems, Israel is one of the world's leading countries and now it is looking to start telling the world.
The Israeli Diamond Industry, a trade organisation to promote Israeli diamonds throughout the world is upping its marketing to showcase the quality and workmanship that the country offers to anyone who wants to buy diamonds.
Over 66% of all diamonds are manufactured by Israeli businesses and the world's largest diamond exchange is also in the country.
Under the slogan, 'The Israeli Diamond Industry – All You Could Ask For In One', Israeli manufacturers will be showcased by the organisation to help grow its market share.
“A strong industry brand is one of the most important assets we can offer the Israeli diamond companies in their worldwide marketing efforts,” said IDI chairman of marketing Shmuel Schnitzer.
