Israeli fashion chain Castro Model is launching a new men’s swimwear line with Speedo International.
Co-CEO Gabi Roter said the new Castro Men by Speedo line is part of the company’s ongoing marketing strategy aimed at expanding its business.
"We are entering the field of men’s swimwear in order to provide our clientele with a fashionable, hip and high-quality product," he said.
The new collection, which includes five Lycra swimsuits manufactured by Speedo, is inspired by sailor and surf wear. It is currently sold at Castro stores for NIS 100-159 (USD 23-35).
Castro made its first steps in the international market in 2003, opening Castro brand stores abroad. At the end of 2003, the first contract was signed with the German company “Otto” to open a chain of stores in Germany, and today there are three Castro stores in Cologne, Oberhauzen and Munster.
