Noam Okun

Hailed as one of Israelís brightest tennis players, Noam Okun has been a regular fixture of the tennis scene since turning pro at the age of 18 in 1996.

Ranked number two in his home country, 6 footer Okun has played against some of the world's best, often winning as well as losing. In 2002, he took on the mighty Andre Agassi losing 6-2, 6-2.

At the age of nine, Okun started to play tennis and was snapped up by the Israeli Tennis Federation who showed the potential he had to play for the country.

Born in Haifa, he has travelled the globe playing the sport, especially since being a Davis Cup team member since 1999

When it comes to Wimbledon, Okun made his debut in 2002 as well as 2005 and is also trying to make it for this year's tournament which starts next week.
