Israel's Padani jewellery chain is set to open its first store in the UK.
Benny Padani owner of the upscale retailer said he expected the branch in Kent to make over £3m in its first year of operation.
“Padani has a loyal clientele in England that shop in our Israeli stores,” he said. “Now those who do not visit Israel can also purchase our goods.”
The store will sell jewellery collections and watches by Bvlgari, Cartier, Chanel and other leading companies.
The store was designed by two Israeli architects, and its manager underwent three months of training at the chain’s flagship store in Tel Aviv.
The rest of the Padani stores in Israel are located in Jerusalem, Eilat and Raanana.
